Here’s the systematic, symptom resolution process that I guide participants through in this online program:
Part 1) We get you equipped with some powerful interventions and I guide you through a simple exercise to map out you current stressors and symptoms. Whatever is causing any stress gets written down, broken down into small enough pieces and processed by your brain as you strategically guide and support this process using the interventions. By the time we're finished with this part of the program, clients report feeling more calm, less anxious and/or depressed, handling the targeted and processed stressors with more clarity and less reactivity. What I notice is that their skill level and confidence with supporting their brains healing process and their use of interventions has improved through this week of work. (The interventions I train you on are Emotional Freedom Techniques, Thought Field Therapy, Energy Medicine and EMDR. (EMDR training happens gradually throughout the program.))
Part 2) I guide you to work through significant events. You'll identify 5 - 10 past, present or future events where your symptoms are showing up and one by one I train you to guide and support your brain to process and resolve these events with as little emotional disturbance as possible. At the end of this part of the program my clients report feeling hopeful, having more understanding of themselves, being more productive and “lighter”.
Part 3) I train you in advanced skills and how to apply these skills to your remaining symptoms to bring about deeper healing and building on the skills and strategies you learned in part 1 and part 2 for stressors, symptoms and events and to get rid of even more symptoms. I guide you to gather information from your body, subconscious mind, survival system and conscious mind and then move that information through the healing pathways. I train you to use mind-body techniques to find the original memory of present stressors or a significant memory. I offer you to exercises designed to guide you to work with parts of yourself and also a creative advanced process for how to lead and guide your brain to find more functional and healing perspectives. This week, I notice a major shift in clients, because they start leaning forward into the work and start to think strategically and proactively about their symptoms and the healing they want to create.
Part 4) By this part of the program, you have cleared out enough symptoms to be able to address problematic beliefs and your subconscious programming. This is also where you'll want to fill up the “newly emptied” space with the good stuff (empowering beliefs and programming). I guide you through exercises that help you to access and identify the limiting beliefs stored in your body, subconscious mind, survival system and conscious mind. And I train you to get your brain to tell you about the problematic beliefs as they are showing up in your life! Here you'll use the interventions and the skills that you've developed in parts 1-3 to move those limiting beliefs through the healing pathways so your brain can work its magic of discarding or upgrading these beliefs. I also guide you through exercises that enable your brain to integrate the upgraded beliefs deeply into your subconscious. This creates massive amounts of healthy shifting and transformation at the subconscious level. Completing this part of the program my clients report that they just don’t believe those old beliefs or perspectives anymore, they notice more freedom and flexibility in thought and transformation with their negative self-talk and inner critic. They also notice that the beliefs that they have always wanted to believe now feel natural, “right” and no longer activate the old self-doubt.
The next 4 parts are to ensure that symptom elimination goes even more deeply and broadly throughout your life so that the transformation lasts and I'll also guide you to search for symptoms in places where it's easy for them to hid and go unnoticed and unaddressed so that you can resolve these too.
Part 5) I teach you how to assess how your boundaries are functioning in your every day life and interactions. This assessment includes your internal and external boundaries. I train you to support your brain to process and resolve any boundary challenges or malfunctions that we identify. This process improves all levels of your boundary function including identification, communication, and maintenance. I guide you to do this work with the interventions and with the skills you built in weeks 1-4. This week and the following weeks you'll just be expanding your application of the skills while getting symptoms out of your life. During this part of the program, clients have an “eye opening” experiences with their boundaries and how these are impacting them in their day to day choices and interactions. And because they finally have the power to create healthy boundaries or adapt their boundaries to more authentically fit who they are now, they have a surprising amount of relief, peace and joy here.
Part 6) I guide you to help your brain “clean up” and optimize your brain function, boundaries, and interactions within your significant relationships to create and/or amplify health and function within these relationships. This is when I guide you to take all of the the tools that you have learned and sort through and resolve any stuck feelings, painful events, biases, limiting beliefs, unhelpful reactions and any other dysfunction that is associated with a specific relationship using all of the skill that you've developed to this point. This process works to identify, unpack and resolve relationship baggage, stressors and challenges. And I guide you to repeat this process with any relationship. Clients choose to work through relationships with their children, their parents, their spouse, their friends, their self, food, money, time, and/or their body. Completing this part of the program, clients notice that they have more clarity about, insight into and shifts within their relationships. They also share the they feel more healing coming through and even spontaneous feelings of forgiveness, tolerance or love for themselves and/or others are arising. This is a beautiful part of this journey.
Part 7) I train you to work through “Focus Projects”. I provide a framework that integrates all of the skills they have developed in the first 6 weeks for the purpose of aiming these skills in a specific, targeted, comprehensive and powerful way to resolve any remaining symptoms or identify and work through the mental, emotional, physical, relational and/or situational obstacles that are blocking the realization of a desired outcome. These Focus Projects guide you to integrate all of your skills for healing, integration and creation while assisting you to experience more of what you desire in life. The potential for these Focus Projects is unlimited and they can be anything, such as: “heal my marriage”, “trust myself”, “finish my music album”, “get off of my anxiety medications", “overcome stage fright”, “forgive my mom”, “start traveling again”, "increase my income”, “love my body”, “set a powerful example for my children", "speak up for myself in meetings", "get in shape", "start a business", and anything else someone wants to accomplish or experience. During this part of the program, my clients create powerful transformation in the chosen focus areas of their life and there is a lot of celebration as they enjoy their new insights, the absence of many symptoms and the steps they are taking that they never could before.
Part 8:) Inner World Transformation teaches you strategies for using the skills you've developed to be who you want to be in the world, to create the life you want and how to lead your brain to create the belief system, the self-concept and the subconscious programming for all of that. Clients really enjoy this part of the program and share that they were able to accomplish more than they imagined and more than they were able to accomplish in decades of traditional therapy.
